Music Ministry

Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director.

Young Adults 

All young adults aged 18-35 are welcome to gather the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 7:30pm for various events. See Youth Ministry for more details!

Eucharistic Adoration

Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Offertory Counters

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. 

Parish Pastoral Council

The PPC is an advisory body for  activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of Saint Benedict Parish.

Stations of the Cross

Held Friday evenings at 6:30PM in the Church during Lent precededed by soup and sharing in the parish hall.

Usher

Greet Parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass and assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection and tidy the church after Mass.

Mass Coordinators

Duties include preparing for Mass and checking in Liturgical Ministers for the Mass.

Men’s Faith Group

All men are welcome!  During the summer they will meet monthly for a social event. Saturday morning sessions will return in the fall.  Look for the start up of a weekday evening session! 

Altar Server

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.

Baptism Preparation

Preparing parentsand godparents for the formation of their child’s faith.

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

Grounds Beautification

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds around the church.

Greeters

Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Lector

Readers who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

Altar Society

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments of Initiation.
